The Fonseca Theatre Company exists to amplify the voices of and celebrate the underrepresented communities of Indianapolis through the prism of purposeful theater and civic engagement. The goal is to create and support inclusive programs that serve to inspire conversation, inform our community, and illuminate the beauty and the challenges of the world around us.
Our Mission
The Fonseca Theatre Company is an artistic collective that reflects the global majority and is led primarily by BIPOC individuals. We believe the sharing of culture is essential to our nation’s health, and we prioritize work by and/or about underrepresented communities. We strive to create an accessible and inclusive space where artists of all racial and ethnic identities, genders, and abilities can participate fully and be the authority on their own story. FTC thinks globally, but acts locally.
