This is a perfectly written play, adhering to the rules of unity of place and time. It is pertinent but also delves into human emotions and relationships.

This is an earnest story about love and hope for the future set against a brutal, prescient apocalypse. This contrast not only heightens the stakes for the climate activists at the play's heart, but asks the reader how they may manage – or fail – to live with constant disaster. A surprisingly comforting script that will only become more vital with time.

Love this honest look at climate change through the lens of complex, knotty, all too human relationships. Most climate change plays are ineffective because they are more interested in facts than people. Gibson forefronts the people so her play is vibrant and entertaining while provoking important conversation about the climate crisis. Highly recommend!

The community of national and local readers for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival in 2021 enthusiastically recommends IF NOBODY DOES REMARKABLE THINGS as a Semi-Finalist at Playwrights Foundation. It's well written, poetic, and exposing in a beautiful way. We were deeply moved by the relationships and the theme of forgiveness. We were compelled by the play's promise as a climate change play with a deep understanding of the mixture of forces that can destroy climate activism before we can get anything done, an important topic. We hope this play is widely read, finds collaborators, and moves swiftly towards production. #BAPF2021
