I love this play so much. When I first got it I read it twice in a row. Lost Girl dismantles a classic fairy tale, which are drilled into the subconscious minds of young girls. Wendy still pines for Peter, a Neverland Fuck Boi who, depending on who you believe, kidnapped her. Is it Stockholm syndrome? Is it puppy love? No one seems to understand the pain Wendy is going through as she is stuck, frozen in time, until she can get some kind of resolution. A beautiful, lyrical, heartbreaking look at women who are left as wreckage.

Definitely top of my list to direct. An absolutely beautiful script that flows seamlessly. Effortlessly relatable. This would be a great opportunity for lyrical/flowing blocking, stage pictures, pace, and a departure from realism. There is a lot of room for creativity in terms of transitions and utilizing the ensemble to change location. This would be the most creative show in terms of design and collaboration with the designers

A terrific script! Directed/produced it at the community theatre level and cannot recommend it enough. The cast connected to the material on a personal level and designers loved its flexibility. A year and a half later and the cast still quotes it and talks about how it impacted their lives. This show needs to be more popular!
