A play that seems to go down the caregiver road - and doesn’t. A play that may explore dementia and does and doesn’t. A play about the human condition that ties a knot in your expectations. Loss, future, AI meet and do a new dance. A great take on an old theme.

A touching play about dementia and the toll of being a caregiver, with a great twist.

I enjoyed this short play so much. It's clean and very well done. So economical! I love the Black Mirror quality! I'd love to see it performed. Just Great!!!!!!

A fascinating and very different futuristic take on caregiving and parent/child relationships. Darkly menacing with a wonderful twist and like the best Black Mirror episodes it has enough recognizable moments to make it believable.

Bailey puts a public domain song to great use here in The Mockingbird's Nest where nothing is as it seems to be, but isn't that exactly like life? Bailey uses a light touch to give us clues throughout the text as to what's really going on, and audiences will love making the discoveries he wants us to make. A truly original piece!

I did not see that twist coming! This is a great play if you're looking for a 'Black Mirror' style play to produce. The simple set and small cast makes this show possible for all theatre sizes. Great for high school performers but perfect for women over 50 looking for new and exciting roles.

"The Mockingbird's Nest" is a quick, engaging read with a twist that I DID NOT EXPECT. I thoroughly enjoyed the way it unfolded, and how it managed to become pretty creepy while remaining very simple - the best kind of creepiness. With a simple set and two great roles for women over 50, this play would be easy to stage and I'm sure would leave the audience talking about it long after it's over.
