I had the pleasure of seeing this performed in Chicago right before the pandemic. It’s still one of my favorite plays that I’ve seen here.

Lipstick Lobotomy is both tender and frightening. Two great roles for female actors to dive into that explore class, true friendship, and mental health.

I couldn't put this play down. It was enlightening, terrifying, hilarious, and heartwrenching.

Wow this play really blew me away!!! It's hysterical and heartbreaking in the ways it delves into what women in these facilities went through and that timeless desire (particularly for women) to fit in. The ways this play explores class and the patriarchy so deeply speaks to today. One of the most authentic looks at a female friendship I've read in a play in awhile.

A powerful, poignant and often hilarious new play. Chilling and touching, it feels more relevant now than ever before.
