An absolutely delightful comedy full of word-play and physical humor that highlights why listening is perhaps the most important part of a relationship. I liked how Saari displayed Charles' subtle (and not intentional!) misogyny, showing that society really does teach men some harmful things-- but that they can be unlearned. A very positive play overall with lovely, bubbly, and realistic characters.

This is such a fun and different premise. And the fact it takes place in one of my favorite places on earth, Marquette, I just had to read it! The ritual scene will be so hilarious and I can just imagine the fun staging to introduce Deb's character. I would love to play that part, for sure. But the most important thing is the message that men should listen more. And I hope this is encouragement to those who need to hear it most.

This play feels very grown-up, in the best possible way. Despite its slightly fantastical premise, it feels like a play about real people trying to grow and change and be better, that gets at some pretty relatable themes. It's easy to blame our circumstances on some outside force like a witch's curse, but we can't truly change unless we own up to our flaws and try to learn from them. Also, as a native Michigander (from the lower peninsula), I'm a sucker for any play set in my home state!

A very fun comedy about the lessons some old friends needed to learn of how to know and love someone well. Beautifully done and full of hope!

This was a highly enjoyable read! Great characters with lots of chemistry and really fun dialogue. Plus anything with witches in it you know is going to be a good time. I highly recommend checking this one out!

We had the pleasure of producing the first developmental production of Bad In Bed this past February. This charming comedy with a twist won our audiences over within the first few moments and they were not disappointed throughout. With wonderful characters, great roles for women, and an underlying message of female empowerment, this was a great way to start off our season. And the playwright is more than happy to provide a pronunciation guide when it comes to the Finnish! If you are looking for a fun romantic comedy that has a fantastic message, grab this show!
