An outdoor twist on audio drama! Watson persuades Sherlock Holmes to take a holiday. A promise of violin lessons lures them to Bloomington, Indiana, but it's a ruse to get Sherlock to take a dangerous case! Who wants to kill a reclusive music teacher, and what does that have to do with an unsolved European heist? This pastiche mystery updates themes and characters from the Conan Doyle stories and remixes them into an original Cold War thriller.
Originally commissioned by Cardinal Stage in Bloomington, IN. Meant to be enjoyed as a site-specific piece: audiences are outdoors for two episodes, each set in a different city park. There's a small amount of walking between scenes, so the listener stands in the same place as the characters (though location photos allow listening from home). I'm open to rewriting it for your theatre's location.
