This play will hit you in your soul! I am a sucker for poetic language and stories of unrequited love, and the complexity and reality of these characters is so interesting to read. This is indeed a story of unrequited love... that becomes requited? And through that, we see these deeply flawed individuals trying to look past their own biases and confront the things that they truly want - all in a high school setting. This play is beautiful and one of my new favorites. Left me wanting more!

As a queer person, I adore everything about this play, it hit me in a very vulnerable place. And not only that but it shows the typical teenage anxiety in an incredibly real way. The layering of conflict in this play allows us to uncover the world that these kids live in alongside the story. Wonderful job!

This play was such a pleasant surprise. It challenged my own expectations about what love looks like. When you see two teenagers in the hookup spot you expect a certain thing. Then, when you see a boy walking in heels you expect another. This play acknowledges these expectations but then tells a story that is incredibly human and touching that moves away from any restraining stereotypes.
