This is a wonderful play. I really love the premise of this play, and how it explores gender identity and expression. This was a fantastic read, and I would recommend this play to anyone looking to read an emotional, powerful, and vulnerable story that explores elements of human connection and self-expression.

I really enjoyed this small little story. As someone who relates to Shaun, trying to find those words when faced with a dilemma can be difficult, but as long as we have the people we care about in our lives it slowly gets easier.

This was a really cute story about gender identity and finding yourself. I think anyone that is looking for a short but emotional story should read this play.

  • William Wallace Ellis: Stiletto Envy

Beautiful. An excellent example of that struggle to maintain relationships while exploring and expressing gender identity during the penultimate period of being a teenager. We are given such a rich history of these characters within these 10 pages and a feeling of uncertainty as to where the two characters will go from here, leaving the audience to question the state of their own relationships. Fantastic work, highly recommend it to anyone developing their playwriting skillset.

Loved this ten-minute play! I also enjoyed that these characters had a backstory and that I was able to understand both sides of the conflict!

A wonderful play because it's able to compact so much character/backstory in so little time. In doing so it raises some very complex questions about gender identity and sexuality which I chewed on long after I read the script !!

It was impressive that a lot was established regarding character and their history. I highly recommend that beginning playwrights read this story due to its clean format and breakdown example.

I really loved this play, and it was an emotional read. Everything flowed greatly, very to the point, and both characters were well spoken. I was invested from start to finish.

This play was so sweet and pulled on my heartstrings. I agree with those who have said it handles its subject matter well. A lot is established about these characters in such a short time and I immediately felt invested in their drama

Very cute and tragic short love story. Genuinely what this author was able to do in ten minutes.
