A great monologue, it cuts to the truth of so many children who are struggling to understand so many things they shouldn't. But it helps them be seen and heard and we need to hear them. Great work.

This monologue definitely tugs at the heartstrings and makes you want to do everything to help the young girl. I think it is the oblivious nature of the girl to her situation that makes you want to help her before she realizes exactly what her situation is. Very well written and opens your eyes to a situation that is all too real for many young people.
