Charming conflict centered on the "what's done cannot be undone" fiasco. Bavoso continues to show his knack and ear for sweetheart dialogue, like the best of Robert Patrick.

A very sweet interaction between two directly addressing the age old question of "are we there yet?" Seemingly both are all in, but it takes a bit of permanence to prove the hypothesis. This play was charming yet addressed very real feelings that couples face. John's writing immediately allows the audience member to understand the character and cheer them on. Nice work!

What a delight. I love Bavoso's work - Invariably funny, bright and relatable - with these stakes that *immediately* draw us in. I saw a wonderful production of this short play with Theatre Three, and I was so grateful for the 10-minutes when I forgot about the pandemic. This is lovely, lush theatre, and absolutely perfect for Zoom. Get it! Produce it! A sweet, hilarious charmer.

What a great and romantic play with two guys unsure about committing to each other. The dialogue is real and unaffected, and there are multiple laugh aloud lines. An O'Henry story in modern times. Perfect play for any shorts festival.

A charmingly bold gesture ends up being exactly the glue this couple needed to take their journey to commitment. Hilarious and lovely!

This is a witty and charming romantic comedy without falling in the trap of being too precious. What a treat! Bavoso has many wonderful one-liners in here, but always in service of the story, as he keeps the plot moving. Preston's "errand" from earlier in the day is a perfect metaphor for depicting the turning point in these two men's relationship. A pleasure to read and, I imagine, so very stageable and dynamic.
