This is How you Got Me Naked is a play like no other you will lay your eyes on. Weingarten has crafted some of the most unique and fun characters that a director or actor could ask for. This play explores college hookup culture from a different, honest point of view. What happens when it's not the sorority girl and the hockey player story that is alway told? I guess you'll have to read to find out ;) I would see this show over and over, it's just like nothing else!

THIS IS HOW YOU GOT ME NAKED OR MY SEXY FAIRYTALE is a delightful romp into the minds of naive, liberal-arts educated millennials. The banter of these aspiring artists is hysterical and watching these young adults navigate sex, relationships, affairs, dual-majors, and protest art is so much fun. A really smart rom-com about humans that we never see onstage (smart, self-aware millennials) and that we need to see onstage more often.

This play perfectly captured my time at Bennington as well as just being a joy to read. Big fan :)

I can truly say that Weingarten has one of the most hilarious and original voices I've ever heard ;) The play is quirky, ridiculous, creative, and pokes fun at millennials while never disrespecting them. Jackie and Monday are completely over-the-top, but they are also insanely empowering and relatable. Despite the cavalcade of memes that poured out of the mouths of our heroines, I can honestly say that I #aspire to be like them. Truthful, heart-warming, and laugh out loud funny, Weingarten has really created a play that sparkles.

Honest is the main adjective that comes to mind when I think of the plays of Catherine Weingarten. There are very few writers out there that capture the truth of millennial speak as well and this play really shows that. Sexual relationships between undergrads certainly isn't new in art but it hasn't been told this way. Its such a tight play and I love how complex the women are compared to the doofus guys.

Everything you loved and hated about being a undergrad at a party that was too cool for you to attend but you wanted to fit in sooooo desperately. Weingarten perfectly channels the feeling of young adulthood angst that makes every character in this play so relatable. The language is rich and emotions and stakes are incredibly high that makes this play a fun, glittery rollercoaster ride

Everyone is looking for an "original" voice but very few have one. Catherine Weingarten does. Original, fresh, and very funny. I loved this play even though I'm threatened.

The fragility and humanity in Catherine Weingarten's college aged characters is universal.

Weingarten shows us the perils college kids face while hooking up... when both parties have wildly different expectations of the outcome. Fantastic use of direct address when Jackie and Alaska finally get down to business... we're in their heads, but they're not in each other's. An important lesson to the rest of us if we want the fairytale ending in our own lives.

This play will make you laugh, feel butterflies, squirm in your seat, lift you up, smack you down, and raise you up again! But then again, isn't that life when you are young woman in her late teens? Catherine's language is working wonders to tell the story of Jackie, a trusting, anxious, energetic freshmen girl in college. Catherine truly gets at the core of what it means to develop a multifaceted female protagonist who just wants to fall in love, but also won't take any shit
