You had me at "Two Cats"! A hysterical play that is so visceral - I could see it staged as I was reading it. The humor and theatricality are off the charts. I particularly loved the differences between Parvati and Omi. Playwright Ian Thal has crafted a play that will delight and keep you thinking long after the last meow.

This is an inventive fusion of humor, intelligence, and the endearing quirkiness of felines. Within the whimsical realm of cats and their humans, Thal seamlessly incorporates elements of mathematics, physics, and absurdity, crafting an engaging narrative. Great fun--for cat lovers, especially!

Ha! We all know cats are in charge, they dominate and rule. These two cats in question embark o quite a complicated discussion with their owner, excuse me, I mean servant of course, and the results are hilarious.
I love the primitive language of the kitten and it's elder doing their best to teach it proper English. This play would be so much fun to stage.

There is so much delightful theatricality at play here! Ian Thal works magic and wonder into this mind bending, charming, hilarious treat of a ten minute play. Thal writes with great pace, deliciously wacky dialogue, and is expertly crafted. A perfect addition to any night of ten minute comedies!

Now I’m not sure I want to be able to communicate with my cat. I don’t think I can keep up with her thought process. What a singularly original and entertaining work! I love how the older cat teaches the younger similar to The Rain in Spain. Which makes me think, if this becomes a musical, there must be a song that starts “196,883 dimensions.” I would come to see this several times!

This was a fun read. Ian Thal successfully captures the spirit (and whackiness) of the feline thought process (and that comes directly from MY two cats.) A wonderful example of how to write a short play—keep them coming, Ian!

OMG, the rehearsals for this must have been, will be and, in at least one of the 196,833 dimensions, currently are utterly delightful! Directors, actors, designers, possibly puppeteers and choreographers, will not know what to do with themselves, their bliss will be so great!

Thal imagines feline epistemology in relation to humans, objects, and the world, making a point to demonstrate the intellectual differences between cats and kittens. Interspecises relations are also examined with great care and comedy.

Once those delightful rehearsals are over, this must be a joy to see staged!

A TED talk about time, dimension and evolutionary biology, presented by two adorable and brilliant cats. It's like watching a split screen for people who like high brow infotainment on one side and people who like slapstick comedy and goofy characters on the other side. I feel a little smarter after reading this! But did you see the cute kitties, too?!

A fantastic glimpse into the superior felines mind and their understanding of the universe! Well done.

Plenty of food (moths, bats, string theory and more!) for thought packed into this short, sweet, and witty play. The human and its two felines illustrate the superiority of the latter in a mind-boggling number of dimensions!
