It's beautiful, poetic, with a formality uncommon in contemporary plays -- and this formal language pairs so perfectly with the beautiful images Partain creates through her characters. I only imagine that every member of an artistic team would love to work on this piece -- the possibilities for lighting design alone are breathtaking. A perfect addition for a short play festival.
