Such a funny premise, the kind that makes you wish you had thought of it, and perfect execution. I'd love to see a production.

This short script is brisk, whimsical, and fun. Ten minutes is just about perfect to play out the premise. Plenty of roles if you're looking for a short play that offers opportunities for more actors.

The Thanksgiving feast is the setting for this charming play about Mike who has to tell his family about breaking up with his girlfriend. Mike has decided to treat the event more like a press conference and make some prepared remarks and then open the floor to questions. The concept is brilliant, and the script is fun with some great lines, plenty of laughs and an absolutely charming ending.

"Talking Points" has a terrific premise and has warm humor. Family coming together to emotionally support family. Hayet has written a winning Thanksgiving comedy.

How wonderful. Despite his best attempts to keep things down to nuts and bolts, a heartwarming family Thanksgiving moment is shared. Truly wonderful for any time of year.

Ha! Yes! Delightful from open to close. Succinct, silly, charming, witty, intelligent, and sure to resonant with anyone who has experienced a breakup. Or a family. Or existential angst, or any mixture thereof. Hayet keeps a great pace, moving us seamlessly through various emotions. Wonderful piece! I also love that there is flexible casting, as one could certainly get creative with the staging of this short, whimsical play.

I had the pleasure of seeing this play as a part of the City Theatre Winter Shorts Festival 2018 in Miami, and it is a delight. A Thanksgiving dinner that is -- at least to one member of the family -- planned out only to go off the rails with the hilarious results and heart-string tugs that only a real family can produce. Yes, it's a holiday play, but it would be a joy to see it any time of year.

What a charmer! Right from the get-go, Hayet's humor grabs you -- I love that this short play is packed with family farce, stuffed with character and hilarious dynamics. It's such a clever idea, and Hayet hits just the right notes. In an evening of short works, this one would be a standout: Totally relatable and endearing!

Absolutely adorable. Hayet has won my heart over with this precious little play. There is so much love and sweetness in this play and if you read it (or see it) and don't immediately go, "awww," then I am sorry to inform you that you are broken. The whole play is sweet and funny and quirky, but what's really special about it is Grandma's speech at the end--which is simply one of the loveliest speeches I've ever read in a play. Funny and economical, this is a delightful ten minute play that would be great for any festival.

A short, but very sweet play about a Thanksgiving dinner that does NOT do disastrously! While the main character is in a crisis, it was a nice touch that he was able to discuss it with his family without it dissolving into chaos. The character of Grandma also had several funny moments. Nice little play!
