Some quick fun with time travel, with good characterization and centering on a meaningful lesbian relationship. The three daughter parts could be a fun challenge for one actress to take on if you go with the playwright's recommendation and cast one person for those three roles.

This is a sweet short play that touches on love, doubt, loss, and time. What I like best is that Lam builds two possible endings, and I'm not sure which one I like better!

I am a sucker for time travel but I must say Lam takes it even further and I want the next act. And the next. And the next. Decisions have consequences and Lam spells them out. And finally, Interventions shows us that decisions also have consequences. Clever, sweet, and beautifully theatrical,

This is a delightful play about proposing and time travel. Full of twists and turns, INTERVENTIONS keeps its characters and audience on their toes until the very end. The characters go through hope and despair and defeat and success all in the span of 10 minutes. Such a sweet play!

A sweet little nugget for three or more women, it'll make you smile, warm your heart, and help you believe in love in its many variations.

Entertaining and clever, and a good showcase for three actresses :-)

This short play has so much charm and wit coursing through it that I have a hard time believing it all happens in just ten pages. Greg Lam evokes a world full of emotions that play out differently with each version of the future we're presented with. And each one has an impact that builds on the previous one. I'd love to see this piece staged for all the reasons I've just mentioned, and also because it offers some wonderful roles for women. Truly a lovely and fun work!

I had the pleasure of seeing "Interventions" performed as part of the Open Theatre Project's SLAMBoston in 2018, and I still find myself occasionally thinking of it and laughing out loud. A clever, fast-paced play, "Interventions" also gives its audience quite a bit to think about - like, what are the unintended consequences of each choice we make? With smart, funny dialogue and a storyline that feels fresh even as it plays with repetition, "Interventions" is a delight to both read and watch.

A smart, funny time travel comedy. Lam gives his premise a kindhearted touch that brings Lil, Ariel, and Jensen’s Rock to immediate life. This play’s a treat for three talented actors — especially the young woman playing Ariel’s daughter, who’s funnier with each new identity!

I love well done time travel plays, and this one hits all the best tropes (while still feeling fresh), keeps the brain engaged (while still giving enough breath room to keep up), and is packed with laughs (while always falling on the right side of the too far/just far enough comedic line).
