Acker empathetically examines the roots of toxic masculinity without downplaying its devastating effects, and offers a nuanced meditation on how one's stance on whether to burn a system down or try to change it from the inside can shift when that system gets personal. This play nails the #MeToo moment, yet is timeless in exploring how we best achieve change.
