A potent reminder that (if you believe in the existence of a Supreme Being) we are ALL God's creations and should be treated as such. Honest and frustrating in equal measures.

Jesus God I loved every single fucking word of this monologue. Femia captures all the Catholic School Student feels like an acid flashback: all the rage, the feelings of inadequacy, the disbelief at the whole Goddamned hypocrisy of the religion, all of it spilling off the page with gorgeous venom. A truly stunning, and truthful, arrow to the heart. And wonderfully freeing.

I love this monologue! The world is extremely rich, I have such a strong vision of all the offstage characters, and the journey so rewarding in the end. Left me wishing I could see more of Imogenene taking over the world after she survives this difficult moment, because *spoiler alert* she will.

So real, so raw, this raging teenage girl breaks the heart and, despite her vulgarity in a holy place, she wins you over with what she says about Love and Sex and being yourself. A middle finger to institutional Religion that antagonizes and demonizes Queer youth. A dynamic role for a kickbutt actor.
