I desperately would love to see this play again; it has stayed with me since I saw it in 2019 and I continue to come back to it when I want to be reminded about how powerful comedy can be in revealing deep and resonant truths. I've never laughed and cried simultaneously in the theater like at this play. I adore it and I'll never look at my lunches (or being a public defender) the same way.

Hilarious play about a group of public defenders who are desperately fighting impossible battles against a cruel system while obsessing about lunch in the most wonderful ways! I highly recommend this for the theatrical use of language, brilliantly created characters and very distinct rhythms and scene dynamics that make this such a joyful show.

One of the funniest plays I've ever seen. Delightfully specific language, a wonderfully kooky workplace environment, coupled with a sly jab at the messed up legal system we have by way of the world's most intense lunch group. Talk about a group of people eating their feelings.
