Funny, witty, absurd, gross, relatable -- both the play itself and the characters in it. Anyone who has had a bad breakup or knows someone who has (everybody?) will enjoy the drama in this play.

Even in the throes of satire, Rachael Carnes has a special talent for wringing every ounce of anxiety, wit, poignancy—that is to say, humanity—from her characters and their heightened situation. Brava!

It's always a delight to read Carnes no matter the story or genre and this tale is no different. Every play shows why she's one of the best out there!

Wonderfully absurdist piece that realizes the full comic potential of pubic lice, and it (they?) have a lot of potential. For anyone who ever had a bad break-up and went off the deep, deep end.

Carnes creates fun dialogue that flows as we watch Marty trying to talk a desperate, unhinged roommate from the precipice of enacting a type of 'scorched earth' dating revenge.

I have had the good fortune to see crabs(dot)com three times when it shared the bill with one of my plays in Manchester England. I love the originality of this piece and the humor. Ms. Carnes takes a familiar tale of retribution against an ex and makes it fresh, funny, and compelling. I am a fan after seeing this play. Ms. Carnes’ work is being produced everywhere and it easily apparent why: she is that good! You’ll be itching- and laughing - for a long time after you see this play.

This is weird, and kind of twisted, in a very funny way. Yes, it's about what you think it's about. It's a great new take on getting revenge on your ex, and having a friend, a really good friend to get you through it. A short play the audience will be talking about and laughing over on the way home.

Another wacky, weird, and wonderful short by Rachael Carnes. There's such satisfying energy just buzzing between her characters and the idea of buying pubic lice when you don't have enough money for rent just so you can get back at the ex who scorned you is deliciously fun! #PlaywrightPlug

OMG, what a twisted, hilarious, and yet heartwarming piece! Fantastic fun for actors, kept me on my toes and laughing the whole time.

"You're late on the rent but you bought pubic lice." OMG, Carnes has written a hilarious tale of a woman scorned and ITCHING to make her ex suffer, and the poor friend tasked to help her see reason. (Lotsa luck, Marty!) A hostage negotiation like the world has never seen before, and yet didn't know it needed until right this very second. Genuinely hysterical, and hilariously shocking in quite a comfortable way ... quite an accomplishment. Marty may not understand Cheryl's wicked intentions, but the rest of the audience will be fully on board. Plan to pause for laughter.
