Recommendations of Adam's Angels

  • Lee R. Lawing: Adam's Angels

This play is a true delight! I'd turn religious again if this was the Holy Word of god. Floyd-Priskorn pulls together so much of what is wrong with the bible and our own world right now, women are not treated as they should be in so much of the world and this plays digs at those things so smoothly without ever losing it's comic genius. The last line is one that made me smile. I can't wait to read more of this playwright's work!

  • Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend: Adam's Angels

This short play is terrific! A retelling of the Adam and Eve story, it wrestles with the role women are to play on Earth - as just being man's 'companion' isn't fulfilling. A new look at an old story, I was entertained and giggling the whole way through. This one is lots of fun!

I liked this play quite a bit. Funny dialogue and good characters make this an excellent satire. This can work for any festival of short plays.

  • Jack Levine: Adam's Angels

I love the satirical manner in which Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn retells the old Biblical story of Adam and Eve. The issue of women’s rights, gay marriage, relationship of man and woman, and purpose and influence of God, are handed in a fast-moving, witty, and thoughtful way,

  • John Busser: Adam's Angels

THIS is some funny stuff! Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn has written a winner here with this tale of how mankind first got busy (if you know what I mean). I loved the addition of Lucy into the proceedings (and how she truly fit in). And some truly laugh out loud lines (The Holy Five Second Rule was my favorite!) Someone should stage this ASAP. You'll be glad you did.
