Oh no! Is this really the future if Facebook, sadly I think so!
Kelly has written a fun, slick short play here, full of morbid wit.
This would be lots of fun to stage!

As more and more folx I know are dead and still on FB, this touched so many nerves and had me in stitches! Because of course we have to laugh at this -- or else! Closedbook is hilarious and necessary. I love the world-building and the admin nightmare and the shift. Strange in the best way!

The description of this play drew me in and the play did more than meet my expectations! The idea in itself is brilliantly executed with dialogue that leads the audience to discovery from the very beginning. In a world where social media can take over our lives, its a funny (and slightly terrifying) thought of it taking over our afterlives as well but Kelly has brilliantly explored this bizarre concept in a way that is sure to have any audience in stitches.
