The blame might go to Barbie, but all of the credit goes to Arianna Rose for this warm and funny play. Rose beautifully renders a a mother and daughter heart-to-conversation on finding your passion. It's easy to see why it's a hit with audiences around the world.

This short play is a sweet tribute to following your dreams and doing work you’re passionate about. I also love that Marie unknowingly influenced Terry’s decision, due to all the years Terry watched her mom as she grew up. We’re always modeling for our kids, even when we don’t realize it. Lovely!

Rose has written a charming love-letter to theater with this lovely and funny short play which so many of us theater folk can no doubt relate to. Wonderful!

Coming out to a parent... about one's love of theatre is never easy, but in this case, it's quite enjoyable. Rose's script is everything a short play should be: Fast, funny, and heartfelt! Take it from this Ken. Barbie is a beauty!

Blame It On Barbie has so much to offer in just a few minutes: parental expectations, acceptance, choices for the future and living life as it should be lived vy doing what you love. It's funny and emotional all at once. A great short play for two women.

Arianna Rose balances the humor so well in this short piece that was a part of the Fantasy Theatre Factory's Short and Sweet festival on-line, and it would be a wonderful addition to any program.

Awwww perfection! Any theater kid will see themselves in this adorable piece. Rose gets right at the uncertainties of a life built on passion, but if we don't follow our dreams, what's the point? Such a resonant, relatable and timeless moment. Two big Barbie thumbs up! (Barbies don't really have "thumbs"...)
