  • Vivian Lermond: Another Park, Another Sunday

Through beautifully constructed naturalistic dialogue, Williams delivers an afterlife storyline of two old friends - someone newly "relocated" and the other a veteran of unearthly life. Together, they ponder the life they lived and tease us with glimpses of life beyond death. Poignant, powerful and thought-provoking! i particularly loved Jill's peach monologue.

  • George Sapio: Another Park, Another Sunday

What a lovely episode for two crossed-over souls. Not quite "Our Town" but it shouldn't be; the afterlife has to be more interesting than waiting for God(ot). Williams, always straight from the heart, carries on the journeys of two spirits, one experienced, one new at the game, who are still capable of hopes, dreams, and compassion. A very touching scene.

  • Emily McClain: Another Park, Another Sunday

This is a lovely nod to Our Town's premise, but with a distinctly contemporary flavor. Jill and Allen are authentic and compelling characters and their friendship is the emotional center of this play. I enjoyed hearing it aloud tremendously and found myself thinking about it the next day-- always the hallmark of a good story, in my opinion. It is a beautiful and moving piece! Thank you for writing it!

Audiences will be drawn in by the charm of the friendship shown in this short dramatic comedy/comedic drama, and they'll be pleased by the depth of discussion throughout.

Philip Middleton Williams refers to one of the greatest American plays in "Another Park, Another Sunday" while also creating an offshoot of it, adding insights to the themes of death and dying, but more importantly life and living.

Enjoy the deeply considered story and themes of "Another Park, Another Sunday." Enjoy the portrait of friendship and camaraderie, too.

  • Monica Cross: Another Park, Another Sunday

ANOTHER PARK, ANOTHER SUNDAY is a very sweet look at the meaning of life through the eyes of two friends who are dead. Philip Middleton Williams does a beautiful job of celebrating life and presenting the bittersweet melancholy of the life after.

  • Jack Levine: Another Park, Another Sunday

PHILIP MIDDLETON WILLIAMS has written a sweet play of what we might feel and say in the afterlife. Time has no meaning. Answers to questions may not be forthcoming. But the simple pleasures, like a peach, can remind spirits of the pleasures one should have enjoyed while they lived their lives. “Another Park, Another Sunday” tells a message of the beauty of life, which we should embrace each day.

Phillip writes with such humour and heart across his great body of work and it’s on show in Another Park, Another Sunday. Witty and full of warmth it's the perfect 10 minute 2-hander.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Another Park, Another Sunday

This play is like a postcard from a far away land, but instead of the usual phrase it reads "Wish I were there." It's a great reminder that life is to be lived. That even the simplest thing like cutting a peach can be a thing of beauty. If you don't slow down now and then, you'll wish you did. A magical slice of after-life.

  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: Another Park, Another Sunday

Two souls-in-spirit, one long dead, one recently deceased, meet in a park on Sundays to discuss the sorry state of life and death. Witty dialogue that has you laughing out loud one moment, and then a second later, you’re feeling sorry for these two lost souls. A great piece for two young actors to dig their teeth into.
