The final installment in the series, Philip Middleton Williams takes you on an unexpected journey. In this final chapter of Clyde and Dan's relationship, he introduces an emotion/event/situation as a character. Grief announces themselves as a necessary part of the relationship between son and father but declares that he's there for the son in an unexpected way.

Philip takes us on this journey of discovery, relationships, and has us rooting for Dan all along the way. Beautifully done. Expert dialogue. I'm rooting for Philip's brilliance and can't wait to read/see more!

GOOD GRIEF by Philip Middleton Williams is a great addition to his already wonderful growing oeuvre. Williams shines a light on Dan's grief that manages to beautifully convey the underside -- in this case, not the darkness but the light. As pain is necessary to warn you of an illness, so does grief have its positive and negative sides. This is a beautiful and hopeful play in the context of the pain all humans share.

PHILIP MIDDLETON WILLIAMS’ play, “Good Grief”, gives a whole new meaning of what grief means in the process of dealing with tragedies in our life. This short play had a big impact on me, as I began to think back to when I experienced grief from the loss of a loved one. This is truly a beautiful play of how grief plays a vital role, one with a positive impact under horrible circumstances.
