Jacquie Floyd-Priskorn has created a comic gem that accurately portrays the compromises that make cohabitation a treat and challenge. And in cramped living quarters, you can be certain the bathroom is going to present a particular challenge, as it does here to great comic effect. Written as a screenplay, 2BDRM 1BATH would be a joy to see on the screen or stage!

Set up as for a narrative short film, this screenplay accurately and humorously describes what couples of any age face as they try to cohabitate a small space. I write this from a 35 foot travel trailer I'm sharing with my husband. And yes, he pees sitting down (awkward silence.) I recommend this piece to film makers.

Young couples married or not who live together will recognize themselves in Floyd-Priskorn's spot-on romantic comedy. We have everything here, the highs and lows, ups and downs, the bliss, the squabbles in bedroom and bathroom. Perfect. Having stagehands on stage during the performance, not just during scene changes (if any), reacting along with audience members, would be hilarious. Yes, yes, let's add stagehands under Character List.

This is such a fun (and funny!) short, I really loved how the story progressed and the all too familiar journey you brought us on. The characters are an absolute treat. I’d love to see this on its feet. I think this piece could work as a short film as well as a strong comedic stage play. Excellent work.

The escalation throughout the script was fantastic. Jacquelyn does a great job creating an excellent relationship that maintains its excellence and authenticity as it evolves right up to the end. Living a small house with one bathroom would drive any newlywed couple mad and Jacquelyn keeps the madness at arms length, though you get the feeling that there could be more. Great show. Can't wait for the sequel where they come out of their secret lairs, both unshaven, both starved for affection... Well it's not my show, it's Jacquelyn's and I highly recommend!

This short piece will be familiar to so many couples just starting out with compromising, romanticizing, and negotiating in a new life and small space. I see this as an adorable and face-paced short screen play with real opportunities for the leads.
