A fun romp that takes inspiration from the best comedy of errors mixes them with stoner flick vibes and shakes them in a pool of absurdist tropes to give us an intense look into how easy we fall into an alternate reality when the media dictates what you see. Fake information leads to bad education which misdirects the allyship most well-intentioned fools think they are exercising. Hilarious from start to finish, this is a great play for colleges and anybody that would like to have a young cast tell an important story.

Part reality-television, part-prayer to the great Latinas of history, part camp, part survivalist nightmare, part buddy comedy, part cryptid mythology story, and the list can go on and on. But what makes this play special is its heart. Iraisa Ann Reilly creates a satire that lampoons the white savior trope for the mess it truly is while delivering laughs with nearly every line. An absolutely unforgettable marvel and a rare comedy about the pandemic in a world with so many dramas and tragedies on the subject. I hope that this play can find a home everywhere when theatre returns.

Set the entire theatre on fire because this play is hot as hell! Never in my life have I seen a play as funny as this, that is also a searing social sentencing of "woke" white saviors failing at decolonizing their views of Latinas. You will scream in rage at the idiocy of indigenous erasure while laughing so hard you could pee yourself. It's got all the camp of a B-Movie while also intelligently debating the complexities of assimilation within the Latinx diaspora. These Latinas, like our ancestors, will do what they have to in order to survive.
