This is my first encounter with a play by Lisa Dellegiarino Feriend. Having written a few sci-fi type plays myself, the title caught my attention. What harm is there in telling a little white lie on the first date? Don't we all do it? Unfortunately, a little white lie backfires spectacularly on poor Joe. A quick, fun little piece that would work well in any 10-minute festival.

An entertaining look at how much a little white lie can backfire. "To the Moon!" takes the audience along for a ridiculous ride. Feriend mixes in just enough believability to sell the absurd premise, and does an excellent job bouncing the characters of the rocksteady astronauts with that of her spectacularly nervy hero. Good fun.

Ha! The consequences of a little lie told many years before can live with you a long time, so Joe finds out in this fun play by Lisa. He's won a trip to the moon, of which he has quite a dislike for. Better still, this trip of a life time was won from a cereal box!
I love this play, and at breakfast tomorrow I'll be checking all Kellogs boxes in my cupboard....
