Okay, this group is #FriendshipGoals. I wish I had a girl group like this! Witty banter and great support for one another. With strong, distinct characters, I found myself wanting to pour myself a glass of wine and pretend I read some book, too! I LOVE Becky!

I can see this one being a highlight of any short play program; the characters are spot-on, the dialogue genuine and insightful, and the actors would have a ball playing this. Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: My Vagina Has A First Name

To begin with the title of this play by Hall is genius in itself, I can't help have the tune 'my baloney has a first name' running through my head! This sets a great scene of a group of female friends meeting online, their friendship is palpable, drop in the 'P' bomb and one hilarious line amongst many very funny lines and you have a masterpiece! Great!

A laugh-out-loud, timely, and well rendered examination of such subjects as female friendship, bodily autonomy, and womanhood in the digital age. This play is a clear celebration of femininity in a multitude of ways, and I’d love to see it produced. Great work!

  • John Busser: My Vagina Has A First Name

A sharp-as-a-tack ensemble comedy for a group of actresses that have to be even sharper to keep up with the constant barrage of banter from this hard-drinking group of friends. Discussing everything from singing gynecologists to name picks for private parts, the zingers fly fast and furious. Really fun stuff.

MY VAGINA HAS A FIRST NAME is a hilarious play (I mean, the title alone is a hoot!) with a ton of heart. The dialogue moves at a great pace, and the characters are so enjoyable to watch interact. Great work to Dana Hall!

Right from the title I was keen to read this play and even on the first page ("BECKY: Female, voices Sarah’s vagina") I was laughing! The play continued to delight and had me laughing out loud. The brilliantly created characters and their dialogue was just perfect (to the point where you could imagine it on television!) This would make a brilliant piece and had me laughing right the way through! Thank you so much for writing it!
