  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Brief Lifespan of a Butterfly (Monologue)

This is a brilliant example of a female empowerment piece that will have you going "you go girl!" by the end. The character of Caroline is expertly portrayed through her dialogue as a woman who is desperately trying to cling to the wreckage of her relationship before she reaches her wits end. In addition, while he's not on stage you can see the husband of character (at least I could) you could see is neanderthal like appeareance and hear the 'grunts' that create his side of the conversation. A fabulous piece that celebrates women and their independence!
