I enjoy all of Szymkowicz's writing, but this is by far by favorite of their pieces! It is such a creative way to approach grief, love, loss, and shock while still maintaining a sense of balance through a sense of lightness. It is as honest and complex as people are, especially while enduring the grieving process, and is a beautiful read that's profound and meaningful.

Adam Szymkowicz is one of my favorites. I really like how this play gives different points of view on grief. I felt like I was reading on honest and heart-felt letter to someone who had passed.

I love that this play demonstrates different perspectives on grief and the words that are left unsaid because I've noticed that some people expect for others to grief a certain way and are often judged harshly when they do not meet those expectations.
