What a powerful play! Having stage managed and watched it in the BTM it was one of the stand outs. Allie deals with grief and AI. The idea of getting closure after death, a mother searching for an opportunity to apologize to the daughter she blames herself for the death of. Powerful. And a great opportunity for clever staging!

Just saw this at the Boston Theater Marathon, and this script really knocked me out. Carefully constructed, pushing not too far ahead from where we are now technologically (and very simple to stage), it's a moving look at the lengths we'll go for emotional closure after trauma. Really terrific piece.

I had the opportunity to view this play as part of the Boston Theater Marathon XXIV. It's such a warm sci-fi piece that makes me long for actual technology with the capabilities to reconnect with loved ones who are no longer with us to get the closure we often (and sometimes desperately) need.
