On April 20, 1933, while attending a formal White House dinner with her spouse, Amelia Earhart convinced First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and the other dinner guests to take a quick flight from D.C. to Maryland in-between courses. It is believed both Amelia and Eleanor briefly piloted the plane. JOY RIDE joins our heroines post-death, when they re-enact the events of that evening and take it to a place neither could have predicted.

    This is a terrific short piece! Great characters, strong dialogue and a nice little story to tell with vast implications beyond what we see.
