This is absolutely brilliant! The magical moment of innocence, turned animalistic due to the advice of...well, animals! This will have audiences roaring with laughter! And the turn around at the end had me screaming!

I absolutely guffawed at this delightfully fractured fairy tale. Nora and her bird friend Ralphio attempt to approach the boy she secretly loves, and things go…oh, you’ll see. And you’ll guffaw, too, I’m gonna bet. The animal kingdom knows what’s what, is all I’m sayin’. They know. What’s what.

Gone are the thoughts of the Disney princess who can charm the birds down from the trees. Raphio makes quite an entertaining sidekick to Nora as she and Patrick try to navigate the trecherous world of love and attraction. Daniel has created a wonderfully funny world where the matchmaking is done by the animal sidekicks and in a brilliant way. Its a witty back and forth where some of the funniest lines are delivered in tweets, at least thats how I imagine the other side of the conversation. Its a wonderfully unique piece that would be great in a festival.

Cyrano meets Dr. Doolittle in this wonderfully lunatic romantic comedy. So many witty lines lead up to Raphio's insanely bad advice and Nora's even funnier blow up. Patrick's surprising response is truly delightful. All-in-all great fun.

Ralphio stole the show - what a wingman! (Sorry not sorry for the pun). Nora blowing up on Ralphio is the best. I love how naive and pure the humans are but their animals will get them through.

THE GIRL WHO COULD TALK TO BIRDS take the fairytale trope of talking animals in a whole new direction. Gibberish and silliness ensue (and not from the birds!). This play is complete with the signature Daniel Prillaman flourish!
