I've recommended this play once before, as a reader but recently I had the great honour of producing it as an audio play for Theatrical Shenanigans. Its a wonderful piece that brought a smile to my face as I thought of this woman trying to create the perfect newsletter. The characters of Stella and Dan are so real and the quick witted back and forth won't fail to put a smile on your face. Its a Deb specialty, wonderfully presented and offers emotions in spades!

Christmas letters. Love em’ or hate ‘em, they do serve a purpose. But what if this was going to be the last one you ever wrote? How much to include (or not) takes on a new level of importance. A humorous critique of Stella’s annual letter with a poignant twist and a reminder of what’s really important: “…gratitude for love, family, and every precious moment together…” A wonderful holiday play to see with family and friends.

Dan attempts to tone down his wife Stella's hyperbole-filled draft of their annual holiday newsletter. He is only partly successful but as audience we're cheering him on. Then we discover why Stella is determined that this particular newsletter should be as perfectly perfect as possible. A delightful comedy about relationships that provides an unexpectedly poignant ending. Lovely.
