Delightful! Bravo, Christopher Plumridge. A jaunty Jesus on the telephone to book a table for 13. Including dietary restrictions for his gang of pescatarians and a reminder to watch how Judas handles splitting the bill! Hysterical. Oh, and one last evening out with Mary Magdalene. Fun.

Oh, the trials and tribulations of getting a table long enough for thirteen picky eaters all on one side! I love that Jesus doesn’t want to do any name dropping to have an “in” here. The biblical and Renaissance cross-referencing is so clever. Very funny stuff, Mr. Plumridge!

What a fabulously funny monologue. So beautifully written it required no effort to visualize the scene which could stand its ground with the best of Python sketches. Perfect for stage or radio or as an audition piece.
