Our place in the universe. What could be more thought-provoking? From the earth as the Pale Blue Dot in the photo taken by Voyager I, while billions of miles away - to standing before Van Gogh's Starry Night at MOMA. Read Nora Louise Syran's wonderful monologue.

O my God I loved it so so much! Beautiful monologue! Okay, beyond admiration, I should write something clever and useful, right? The text is beautifully constructed, packed with many profound thoughts in a moment. Yet, these almost philosophical questions are discussed in the most ordinary manner. This, I believe, is its greatest virtue. How it turns an everyday moment into something wonderfully unique and irreplaceable. Very nice work!

This is a lovely, lovely monologue. I love how it slowly zooms in from the anxiety inducing "largeness" of our reality--our constantly hyper-connected reality, and focuses on the reality of light changing a landscape, the moments captured in paintings, or by the nose of a dog. A wonderful choice to perform and emotionally resonant. great work.
