I'd agree with Dave Patton wholeheartedly. I'd go out of my way to read a shopping list scribbled by Vivian C Lermond. She takes the ingredients and puts her creative spin on everything. Her work is always completely original, layered with the unexpected and an absolute joy to read. I am chuffed to divulge that I gave her the writing prompt that inspired her to produce this wee gem. Bragging aside, she created another cracker.

In a very short amount of time Lermond creates a character who we don't even see that is so easy to connect to it makes you smile to hear of the changes they've made in just two years. Well done.

How many times do you run into someone you knew and wonder 'how did they get here from there'? In a short span of time, we learn who Gerry was and see who he is now and wonder, like Mitch, about that space in time. Do others think the same of us? Did he change?
