Closure within grief is so hard to encapsulate let alone grasp, but it is depicted very humorously here if such things could be displayed humorously. Very enjoyable and sweet.

An encounter with the spirit of his dead lover leads Alec to attempt to return to the world. Bursts of unexpected humor leaven this thoughtful and moving exploration of grieving a sudden and shocking loss.

A loving and heartfelt short work about grief and the choices we make when the clouds overwhelm us. Deep and well-written.

Oh, those moments that we all all wish for and long for when we lose someone that we loved and who loved us. Donley's lovely and so sweet play gives us one of those moments where Alec gets some closure to his lover's death knowing that even though there will be months and maybe years to grieve his loss, the sun will still rise and shine just a little each and every day.

I really enjoyed how this play was able to present dealing with grief in a fresh way. There are very funny moments throughout, but overall this was a very moving look at the subject of how we grieve and how, perhaps, we eventually move on. Wonderful interaction between the main characters. This would definitely be a benefit to a 10-minute festival that would have it.
