Literally Forever

TEN MINUTE: Harmony and Leah met at a party not too long ago. When Harmony told Leah she knew a place, Leah wasn't expecting Cabin F of Smokeside Summer Camp, an abandoned camp ground no one has visited in years. The set up is straight out of a bloody horror movie, but there's more to this story's monsters than meets the eye.

Literally Forever is a romantic dramedy with a biting twist.

Very well wrought play about "love at first bite" issues as told through the fledgling romance of two girls, one of whom happens to be a vampire who's been around for centuries. Sweet, funny and also quite theatrical at times in the best sense of the word. An entertaining morsel, this.

I’m not easily drawn to vampire stories, but this one with two teens (albeit one actually centuries old) was a sweet love story enhanced by the blood thirsty aspect. The tentativeness and longing between Harmony and Leah is all to human even though the result of their union is something altogether different. Well done.

Sam Heyman uses a sweet relationship and a time-honored metaphor to underscore a great script about coming into your own and finding your people.
