A beautifully poignant jewel of a play about a generational and cultural gap between two women. Sexism and patriarchy are still innate parts of our culture. To what extent can women rebel and to what extent do they have to put up with cultural expectations? In the relationship between an older and younger woman, this and other questions are explored with humanity and humour. I saw this play at the Valdez Theatre Conference 2025 and I find myself still haunted by it.

A hauntingly relevant play about the past that reflects our present. Humor and humanity bounce between the generational gap of a mother and daughter, while the presence of an unseen character looms large offstage. I got to see the reading of the play presented at the 2025 Valdez Theater Conference.
