←Recommendations of You and 250 of Your Closest Friends Have Been Rejected, or, The CC Reply All play

08.29.25 - I was there watching this carnage unfold and I have to say, glad I got to read this transcript as there were some things I missed. I think it would be hilarious to get everyone involved (including the theater in question) on a Zoom call and reenact this.

I love a good verbatim play, especially ones that are meta like this! To hear these words aloud onstage would just add an extra layer of hilarity. What a fun play! (Such is what happens when writers get the chance to riff off of each other, I suppose)

08/17/2025 - I was on this chain email but by the time I considered responding my inbox had already been flooded with responses! A memorable play rejecting experience for sure made into a funny comedic piece that any writer can enjoy. Great creativity. Well done!

Very sad that I'm not among the 250 closest friends because all of these characters seem like a delight to be around. Will always love this playwright community.

I regret not being one of the 250+ (I did not submit to whatever opportunity this was). But this was worth the "rejection I never got". A delightful read. I wonder how many of those 250+ playwrights I know...

The failure to blind cc on a rejection list and the delicious responses of some rejected playwrights who hit reply all are the core of this hysterical found play. It offers great comfort to those of us who have suffered the pangs of rejection from other venues.
