So many twists in so short a time! I loved this delightful short play and I think audiences would too. A perfect fit for a 10-minute play festival.

I did not see the end coming! The "i" word certainly can cause quite a stir. This was a great play to read.

JULIE BRANDON’s play, “Sweet Dreams”, is a fun piece of twists and turns, mixed with humor, and delivered in a most unexpected way. I enjoyed it and would like to watch it performed onstage. Nice work!

12.05.25 - Now THAT piece packed a punch I didn't see coming. Like something out of an old EC crime comic, the cheater is about to get their just desserts. And the whole time, I had no idea this was where it was going. That's good writing from Julie Brandon. Would love to be in an audience just to hear what I'm sure would be an audible gasp when we see just what is really going on here.

It begins to seem like insomnia is the least of Ryan's worries, until the last surprising twist in this expertly constructed comedy. This play is such great fun all the way through from initial premise through that final unexpected twist.

The twist will have you gasping! A very nice short play that has a great twist.

The queen of the short zinger (and, dare I say, O. Henry ending), Julie Brandon continues her streak of quick jabs that entirely play with your expectations. Nothing is ever what it seems in a Julie Brandon play.

And her skills are only getting sharper.

At first, it’s sweet… And then… Well, then… Actually, it’s best not to spoil this clever husband-and-wife tale. A story that definitely won’t put you to sleep!

Oo, this was a fun one. At first it's a charming little tet-a-tet between a married couple and then... well, you'll just have to find out for yourself. Don't sleep on this 10 minute play... it would fit well into any festival that would have it.
