If Tennessee Williams, Sigmund Freud and Colonel Sanders collaborated to write a comedy, it would still not be as funny as John Busser's puntastic take on chicken family dynamics. This short play is loaded with some of the silliest double entendre this side of Laugh-In. Actors will have an absolute blast with this one!

With three delightful non-human (see title for a hint!) characters, hilarious dialogue and some really clever stage directions, Busser's ten-minute play centering a somewhat overenthusiastic mom is super-fun to read and would be even more fun to see on stage.

The over the top puns and chicken/gender stereotypes are fast and furiously hilarious. This will be a real barn burner of a show! Kooky design opportunities and physical comedy as well, this is absolutely cracked!

There comes a time in reading a John Busser play that you begin to wonder when he will run out of jokes and hilarious stage instructions. Not to worry: with this latest entry in his comic repertoire, the humor and hilarity comes fast and furious and no chicken yolk...uh, joke is left untouched. The next step for this short is into the hands of Wallace & Gromit for "Chicken Run III."
