Kent Rowan and brother Bobby are at the food court of their local mall, getting dinner after buying shoes for Bobby.

Cheryl Jarvis, the girl Kent likes, is at another table with friends Brandy and Madison. Her overbearing boyfriend, Keith, crashes the party to check in on his girlfriend.
