The goal of my art is to tell real stories about underrepresented people. LGBTQ people of color have real stories that are convoluted, tumultuous, breath-taking and inspiring. The color of my skin, my gender and orientation is a part of me and allows me to paint stories with a different and interesting brush. My writing looks at humanity in all of its nuanced and magical forms, proving to everyone just how relatable and needed these stories really are.
