A playwright by artistic inclination, I've been a psychotherapist by profession. I've also taught at the preschool, elementary and college levels, and have enjoyed my work with students and their families. I love to travel, and have found my playwriting enriched by learning of other cultures.
I have been married forever, have three adult children and four grandkids, and a wealth of experience with understanding human emotions and interactions.

Her good friend and neighbor, Theo, tells Jane that the Gorilla Group plans to buy their homes in order to gentrify their neighborhood, Colin gets an externship in New York, and Jane's symptoms are becoming hard to ignore. Should Jane sell her house? Move to senior living? Find a way to go to Peru, even if she's diagnosed with early dementia? Each character has his or her own point of view about the central questions: Should Jane choose safety over adventure and freedom? And who gets to decide?
