Emerson Riter is a playwright and fictionist from New York. She loves to explore unorthodox settings and how magic appears in everyday life. She is currently pursuing a degree in English with an honors in Creative Writing at Colby College in Maine, where she serves on the masthead of The Colby Review. She is a two-time playwright for the Chain Theatre, where she self-produces projects that deal in strange happenings, outlandish characters, and human struggle.
