Suilebhan’s writing has been noted for its “dexterous theatricality and unexpected pleasure” (Washington Post). His work has been commissioned, developed, and produced by Centerstage, the Ensemble Studio Theatre, the Gulfshore Playhouse, Theater J, Workshop Theatre, and Theater Alliance, among many others. He is also the author of Anthem, a short film directed by Hal Hartley. With co-author Steven Gimbel, Suilebhan writes about comedy, politics, and philosophy for Salon, Moment, USA Today, the Baltimore Sun, and 3 Quarks Daily, among other publications.
