Sarah Saltwick

Sarah Saltwick is a writer based in Austin, TX. She is a graduate of the Michener Center for Writers at UT Austin and was a Jerome Fellow at the Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis. Her plays have been produced nationally and received critical acclaim from the Austin Critics Table and B. Iden Payne Committee. Synopsis

After the collapse of the civilized world, people are struggling to survive. Technology has failed. Food is scarce. Rabbits have grown huge in size and frightening in strength. Cass has fled a compound to hunt for a better life. Her journey leads her to the isolated home of Jackson and his daughter Dove. After these three days, nothing is the same.

Appropriate for adult audiences as well as high school. During the production run at UT Austin, two performances were given for high school classes. Several audience members commented on how much they enjoyed the play and that 'maybe they should read the book after all'.
